The band:
American Animal runs on distortion, defiance, and heart. All that energy lived on stage, but nowhere in a visual language: no mark, no palette, no images that felt like the sound.

The work:
I built the brand from the performance, not a logo. Raw, grainy, high-contrast live photography as the core asset, plus a hand-brushed wordmark, a three-color system (Stage Black, Neon Pulse, Electric Crimson), and rough layouts. A style sheet locks the tone so the band can carry it on their own.

Role: Photography, brand identity, art direction.
